Renting a car in Rabat and Témara: what to confirm before booking
Plan a Rabat or Témara car rental with a practical checklist for pickup, documents, deposits, luggage and comparing the total rental quote.
Read the guide →If you want to collect a rental car after landing in Morocco, arrange the handover before your flight. “Airport pickup” can mean different arrangements, so ask exactly where and how the vehicle will be delivered. Cross Country can discuss pickup at Rabat–Salé Airport or Mohammed V Airport, subject to availability and confirmation.
Give the team the airport name, flight number, arrival date and expected landing time. Make clear whether your time is local Morocco time. If you expect a long immigration or baggage wait, discuss how you will contact the team after landing. Save the contact number before traveling so that you are not trying to find it at the terminal.
Ask whether you should meet at a terminal exit, a parking area or another agreed location. Request written instructions and confirm who will contact you. Do not assume the agency has a rental desk inside the airport. Cross Country’s office is in Témara; airport delivery arrangements are confirmed separately.
Ask for the complete rental quote, including any airport delivery or collection charge. If your flight arrives late, confirm whether the proposed handover time is available and whether it changes the price. Ask what happens if the flight is delayed and how long the team can wait. These arrangements should be agreed before you rely on the pickup.
Tell the team how many travelers and bags you have. An economy car may suit a lighter trip, while a sedan or SUV may be more useful for extra luggage. Ask about the specific car’s boot space rather than deciding from a photo alone. If you need child equipment, request it early and confirm availability.
Confirm whether the car will be returned at the airport or at another location. Agree on the time, meeting point and contact number. Allow time for the vehicle inspection and your airline’s check-in requirements. Photograph the car’s condition with the team at both handovers and follow the agreed fuel policy.
Send your flight information, rental dates, passenger count and preferred model to Cross Country. Ask the team to confirm the airport arrangement, full price, deposit and documents. Your request is an inquiry until availability and terms have been confirmed.
Tell us your dates, pickup location and preferred car. We will confirm the options and rental conditions.
